Home
Dear Readers,
Birds sometimes migrate south for winter in order to seek warmth and food and fly back north in the spring to breed grounds.
However, they seem to have a sense of “home” in where they create their nest and territory. This is a safe and secure place to raise their young and defend their space from other birds.
As humans, we change through seasons. We travel to new places, meet new people, and try new activities and adventures.
However, while we often have a drive for change, we also often crave stability, security, comfort, and protection.
We may find ourselves seeking the places and people that give us this sense of stability.
At the end of the day, we go to so many places and meet so many people, but we somehow make our way back home.
Whether we return to our foundation where we were raised and the places and people that built us, or create a strong foundation of our own that holds strong enough to sustain, we ultimately gravitate towards where we feel safe and secure.
No matter where you go or how much you change along the way, never forget where you came from. The people and places that you were loyal to and were loyal to you.
Because you will end up falling back on each other. You will find each other when life throws curveballs because you know you will be there for each other.
Many aspects of life are fleeting, but when you find aspects that feel long-lasting, hold onto them tightly.
Find who and where make you feel safe, comfortable, and secure, and make these people and places a priority.
Just like the birds, you may often gravitate towards home.
Love,
Samantha
