Rainfall

Dear Readers,

Sometimes, emotions can be scary. They can be consuming at times and may even override logic.

We all experience highs and lows of joy, fear, anger, excitement, sadness, love, and hurt at some point. These emotions come in waves, both moment to moment, and sometimes in phases in our lives.

Although experiencing emotions or feelings can be scary, I think in many ways they make life what it is and enhance our lives. Personally, I would rather feel something, even if it was painful, than nothing at all.

Emotions give us extra color, curiosity, perspective, and growth.

I think sometimes, feelings can be like the rain. It falls whether you like it or not. You can’t escape the rain.

Whatever you are feeling, try to embrace it. Let yourself feel and accept it. This way, you can learn to manage the way you feel and appreciate your experience rather than trying to run away from it.

If it is a positive emotion, it is a joyous feeling worth embracing; if it is painful, it can help you grow and will likely pass or improve with time.

It is okay to let the rain fall sometimes. Without rain, plants wouldn’t grow. We can even dance in the rain.
