Fog
Dear Readers,
You know when you are on a plane and look out the window and see pure whiteness? Those extra voluminous clouds that block any sun or shade of blue from seeping in.
Sometimes, we go through phases or experiences in life where we feel like we are in the clouds. We are so caught up in a situation that we cannot see clearly.
It can be important to take a step back and reflect. Oftentimes, we need distance to understand our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
When we are caught in a cloud, we become blinded by whiteness and our perspective fogs.
When we take space from a situation, we can see the sunlight and blue-sky seep in and our vision becomes more clear.
We can then look back at the fog with a better understanding of the time that we flew through the cloud.
It can be easy to become blinded in life when we are going through a powerful or transformative experience, but we all need to take a step back sometimes to reflect on where we are, where we’re going, and if we like the direction we are heading.
After all, we are our own pilots and can keep steering forward if we are caught in a cloud. We have better control of our navigation when we fly through clear skies.
Love,
Samantha
