Silence

Dear Readers,

Animals often use signals to communicate with each other. They do not have the ability to tell each other their desires, needs, or intentions, so they show each other. Their peers can sense what they want and where they are going.

As humans, we have the ability to communicate through language, yet we function similarly to animals. We do not always express ourselves through words.

Sometimes, we send the strongest signals of communication in silence.

In moments of silence, we can often express what words never could.

We don’t always speak, but we gesture. We look. We touch. We move. We feel. We think. We gaze. We admire. We laugh. We cry. We smile. We remember.

Like reading letters created by branches in the trees, we can read each other through our body language and energy signals.

Oftentimes, you do not need words to know what the other person is thinking or feeling.

You can sense.

You can read it in their eyes. You can see it in their smile. You can feel it in their absence.

You have an unspoken understanding.

Do not simply observe what people say, but also what they do.

Think about what they tell you without using words.

Love,

Samantha
